Springfield M1A High Speed Video Match Rifle

This is a high speed video clip of Gunsmith Colby Brandon firing a NM Springfield Armory M1A rifle. My purpose of taking this video was to better understand the timing of bolt/op rod movement and it's relationship to the projectiles location. What I learned from this video is that with a standard length barrle (22")the projectile has left the muzzle before the op rod starts to move. I will also be uploading a clip of a M1A scout rifle being fired from this same angle.
