Guy, Operations Manager (OpM) describes at the site: Hundreds of Historic Comstock Mines now consolidated under One in GSPG.OB (Goldspring Inc) 6,500 acres plus. How many US businesses have significant income because of work with China? Will China honor Pres Nixon in the Olympics? All I ever got from watching the Watergate trials was that Nixon was cussing. Polticians didn't cuss back then (ah hem), so he had to go as a matter of propriety. But now, 'it is cool' for Deadwood to cuss like dragons and many other liberal movie and TV productions consider it standard fare. (hmmm...a double standard? a standard to supplant a standard? President Richard Milhouse Nixon had great speeches.) The people who own claims in the Comstock would probably not be able to start a mining operation on their own due to permitting and financing, so many claim owners joined in with Goldspring who has already paved the way on all points: management, engineering, permitting, equipment, funding. Goldspring broke down those borders of division, convincing even owners with family claims from the 1800s to work together. No one before Goldspring was successful to unite the many disparaget parts of the Comstock.
