Just for fun, I've added syllables to the well-known English words to better match the melody of the Portuguese version. Sacrilege, i know! This recording is dedicated to my friend Adriana Barreiros, with thanks for her friendship and support. (Did you know that the story of that movie continues in Demy's magnificent "Umbrellas of Cherbourg", and even has a brief reference in "The Young Girls of Rochefort? I've even heard there's another little-seen movie called Model Shop which continues Lola's own story.)
