CATHY NEEDS A CABARET AGENT IN SYDNEY------DON'T WATCH IF YOU ARE IMPATIENT--A LOUSY QUALITY VIDEO OF AMPUTEE HIPSTER CATHY LOFTS DANCING "THE BROKEN DOLL" at Sydney's Enmore Theatre-2004 ---She appeared regularly (as a dancer)on the ABC tv Marcia Hines Show as well as many top modern ballets. In '84 she lost a leg and small part if her hip in a King Cross rooming house fire. (Kellet Street)---Her lower torso injuries make it impossible for her to use an artificial leg . After a year in the burns ward, she was well enough to be featured in the Ray Martin Midday tv show when her dance colleages threw her a fundraising concert. Sir Robert Helpman attended , as well as other big names in ballet. She lived in India and Thailand for a while then began working in cabaret as a "very exotic" dancer. Having one leg less than most became an asset. Cathy's available NOW to work in cabaret in Sydney.Australia. but I've lost touch with her so if you see her around Sydney say hello. -In this clip she is DELIBERATELY out of time with the music to express the doll is "broken"
