Clear Cutting Trees Hilton Head Island

This video shows where trees have been clear cut by the Town of Hilton Head to prepare the land for construction of the Hilton Head Fire Training Complex. This shows the hypocrisy found within the Town which allows for clear cutting for what they deem necessary but will not allow clear cutting of trees at the Hilton Head Airport. Clear Cutting for the airport would cost approximately $2,000,000. However, the Town wants to cut the trees in a different manner which would cost the Beaufort County tax payers $5,000,000 more than the clear cutting option. DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE????
