QD-15 VLJ Concept by QUANTUM AEROSPACE

Designed using CATIA V5 MOHSIN AFRIDI This was a final year design project for my BEng AEROSPACE ENGINEERING degree. This was a complete semester project. My team included 15 other members. We started off using my sketches and then with the Roskam series books we completed all relevant engineering calculations and came up with this design. According to our proposal we designed the most cost effective and market viable design for a VLJ. You can find some more info and team details on. afridimo.tripod.com Since I was most creative and a big fan of CatiaV5. I tried to learn and apply Generative Shape Design (GSD), part design, Assembly and Photoshop work-benches as best as I could. Although I was not totally aware of Best Design Practices at the time and my TA sucked ass. I still managed to present my design intent in a good way. I have come a long way since then.
