Mutegi Jumps 7 Feet!

This is Mutegi (pronounced 'mo-the-gee'), aka: 'Mo'. Mutegi is a 20-month old F1 Savannah cat who can jump like no other cat I've ever seen. Mo's very shy around strangers, so most people don't get to see him put on a show like this. And this is definitely something you'll have to see to believe!! Savannahs are a hybrid between a domestic cat and African serval. The "F" designation refers to which generation the hybrid animal is. The "F1" designation means that Mutegi is a "first generation" animal - In other words, he's a direct offspring of a domestic cat and a serval (making him 50% serval). An F2 Savannah would be the offspring of an F1 Savannah female and a domestic male (and subsequently, 25% serval).
