After several attempts, the ZR-1 reached that time with a driver that knows the car well. The ACR only did three laps and had a driver that has not driven a Viper before.

Yeah but the ACR uses r-compound tires, while the ZR-1 does not. Also, the zr-1 recently matched the acr's time around the ring.

Yeah I was wrong. They were about 20 seconds to finish a 1/4 mile. 0 - 60 in 15.8.

Well when you are talking drag racing all the rules go by by. I've seen Chevettes run 8 second 1/4 miles and they are about 18 seconds stock. The older RX-7's are great for squeezing V8's under the hood.
