mr stubbs, that is probably one of the off the wall comments ive ever heard. he took a gasp of air, therefore he is high. i just came up from being under water. i took a gasp of air, therefore i must be high. he took a gasp of air because he is singing and without air we die. your not a heroin expert or a cardiologist. please just enjoy his unique voice and dont concentrate on whether hes high or not. long live layne and a.i.c.

true.. alot of the songs are about drugs/drug abuse. but, Layne himself said that he never created while high... only after could he create music.

just remember......without the heroin.....no kick ass lyrics...none the less a shame.alot of songwriters need to be out of thier mind in order to say the things they want to say in order to not feel like an outsider....with the drugs csme a sense of security.

yes it may have been a personal choice but no one wakes up one day and says "well I think I'll become an addict today" It fucking sucks being addicted to anything and once it grabs on it's hard to get off the shit.
