The song was a No.1 hit in 1967 for the Box Tops and has been covered a couple of dozen times since then. The version here is more like the Joe Cocker cover than the original Box Top version.

Yeah, I think that's it, but it's not fair :( They've both been here for years and have made their homes in this country, so i don't see what the issue is. They so should have been the final two.

i love them!!! the sound they create together is DIVINE!! I think they both should have gone further.... the best voices in the competition by FAR!! david cook, also had a fantastic voice and he was SO contemporary and original! still I LOVED these two!!

It so should hav been them two in the final but i hav a theory n shoot me down if u will but I believe because they weren't native american's they were sent packing!!! after all it is American Idol and so an american must win... but that's just me!
