this is so sad, i just hate it when good bands have fucking dead crowds because it just makes them look bad.. everyone is just staring at them and they're playing fucking awesome, i'd understand if they sucked but cmon... what the fuck? shit i've seen 100x better crowds at muse concerts. That's fucking sad.

maynard's demeanor, dress, lyrics, and actions symbolize rebellion from not just mainstream music or society, but herd mentality in general. the paradox of this is that in pointing this mentality out, he attracted blind followers of his own, just like everything he reviled. kind of like you, and most other tool fans. me too, i guess. nobody "gets" maynard's vision but maynard. now i'm guessing he sees the futility in this, and thus everything comes full circle. heh, now i understand that name.
