Anyone who has the slightest bit of music sense knows that Rafi saab was and still is the best! kishore never compared himself to Rafisaab , he knew that no one could come within a 100000000 miles of the master Rafi saab. Its a darn shame tht some ignorant bigots were prejudiced because of his religion but he was proud to be a muslim and may Allah swt grant him the highest jannah, ameen R I P RAFI SAAB, UR MISSED BY BILLIONS OF FANS!

RD Burman is nothing as compared to his father SD Burman who knew Rafi saab's worth. Personally I feel RD Burman is most overrated composer with no sense of musical talent whatsoever. He always used to give friends, caste, region higher priority than music.. For me gr8 composers are those who recognized Rafi saab's talent like Naushad, Ravi, Roshan, OP Nayyar, Sachin Dev Burman, Laxmikant Pyarelal duo and many more.. and RDB is at the rock bottom.

Henceforth any comments against Rafi saab wont be tolerated here. If you wish to praise Kishore da or any other singers please post your comments against Kishore da's videos or else provide strong reason to support your arguements. Baseless arguements won't be entertained.

I've heard that there was a Raj Kapoor gang who tried to sabotage Rafi's career. And R D Burman started promoting Kishore.

Kishore Kumar songs can be imitated by most people. While Rafi's songs cannot be. He sang difficult tunes and different scales. Hence you see so many Kishore clone singers Abhijeet, Kumar Sanu and more you see in music competitions. But very few can sing like Rafi. Sonu Nigam is the best imitator of Rafi but even he couldn't do it exactly.

anmar415, I agree with you. When I was a kid, my father always used to tell me great things about Rafi saab. To me, they were sad and slow songs. But when I grew up, I realized what he was saying. Everything he said about Rafi saab has been said my every music director and singer. Anyone knowledgable in music appreciates it coz they know how difficult it is to be so versatile and the scales rafi can sing. Singers like SPB, Yesudas say the same thing.

i used to be diehard fan of Kishor Kumar but when i matured and i got real sense of music i changed my mind and now Rafi is the only singer that listen to. I hope u will mature soon!

How? can u prove it? talk to a person who knows music and he will tell u who is best. Kishore kumar is controversial some musicians dont consider him a good singer. He could never sing classic which is the soul of music
