I think Mussie does a bang-up job - I find the voice extremely soothing - not a bad thing for presenting information. I would say it makes it a friendlier approach - and this is, after all, Friend Connect. Hey, Google, more Mussie Shore videos!

You are adding features to an existing website - yours! Why loose your audience to destination sites to conduct social networking activities? It's about audience retention and creating revenue generating opportunities.

Because that won't help... The target of all of this is simplicity and Open Social, why create a brand new social network that could fail while you can just rely on the success of existing one's. (especially since users dislike having to create an account for a website just to do one thing)
