I agree, i think they should definatly be a movie based on the cocaine years of the 80's. I see it being something like scorcese's casino, rivi narrating.

*George Jung. And as the movie depicts it, he had a huge market in Southern California that was probably taken over by gangs when crack came out and that was probably around the time he went to prison. I would say Scarface is the closest to "Cocaine Cowboys" as an accurate depiction of all this. But remember the real Scarface was Al Capone, not Blanco or anyone else.

Sorry for the mix up realized it after watching a few more episodes. I wouldnt say the story is completely different as George Yougn had a huge shunk of the market in the US.

Blow was about George Jung. He's someone completely different from the Cocaine Cowboys. He also was operating in Southern California, not Miami.
