The framers set up this nation to fail. The arrangement whereby free people can choose to release their hold of liberty was the central core of the Amendment process. Keep in mind, it has been the general public opinion that for so long has kept socialism out of this nation that now, socialists must take back routes. Courts, edu-indoctrination, and media to name a few. Keep in mind, when government is doling out money, few will refuse to accept. Basic self interest. Freedom's is end near.

I hate to admit it, but Liberalism has become a necessary evil in this country. We're too divided and too ignorant to solve problems without some sort of Government intervention. Not that I wholeheartedly trust Liberals, or the government, but I've come to the conclusion I have to trust them more than John Q. Public.

Yeah, you do have to wonder where "conservatism" went. It hardly seems either party stands for "less government" anymore.
