just cause u dont like it and u call urself a muse fan doesnt mean other fans dont like it. just cause i like the song in addition to thier 100 other songs doesnt mean i dont like it. shouldnt a real fan enjoy all of the artists' songs?

actually. you know what ruined it 4 me? the vid! it's a stationary scene+ they spent lots of money on b/c it was a real ship.. and it wasn't even a space ship!! (which i thought was sort of the point of the song and the "theme"/feel of the album - kindof extraterrestrial, if you know what i mean. sure you do, you're a muse fan).. after listening to the album... i was reaally surprised to hear it on the radio too. although some ppl (the non-muse fans) sorta-like it. maybe that was the point? idk.

well...that's the problem. the majority of muse fans, including me, don't like starlight for what it is. the song itself is very weak, both compositionally and lyrically. i don't care if it's maintream or not...i just think it's an extremely boring song.

The bassline in Hysteria is great, and technically more impressive, but this one is just catchier to me for some reason.
