It's originally an Australian series about a mother and her daughter, who still lives with her at home. In the American version, Molly Shannon plays Kath (the mother), and Selma Blair plays Kim (the daughter).

Yes I know, I just forgot which I heard it from. I don't think it's THAT bad though. I laugh at it, It's just the difference between the two cultures- we find different things funny.

Uhh there's a huge difference between South Africa and Australia. The shitty US version is based on the Australian (or African, as you may know of it as) version. It's not very good either but better than the garbage you people have come up with.

Uhm, Cesil, Kath & Kim is a comedy on ABC. But they also have one for south africa/austrialia (I foret which) with different actresses. She plays the daughter. She's a much better actress in that.
