You said it yourself, Japanese music is not on the same level. No matter if their music industry is young or old, good music sells itself. If you asked any good rock band now or acoustic player or even singers who inspired them, I'll guarantee 9 times out of 10 they'll mention The Beatles or a member of The Beatles.

It's because the music industry in Japan and Asia is still so young. If Japanese music had been on the same level as Western music at the time maybe we wouldn't be having this arguement? I'm still curious about the quality of the music. There are loads of bands that are better than The Beatles but are less famous. The reason The Beatles became so big was because they represented something new. Not so much different than Japanese music today.

No, it's you who needs to read. Not just any garbage music can make those achievements, if they could then The Beatles wouldn't have held these achievements for as long as they have. Lennon and McCartney are the most successful songwriters in history, do you think anyone can do that, if j-pop artists are so great, why haven't they surpassed The Beatles? You and I both know why, it's because they cannot. Simple.

The Beatles are the best selling musical group of all-time. They have the most Multi-Platinum albums then any other group, and they have more number 1 singles then any other group ever. Now let's see what your genre has done. You compare a band to The Beatles well I'll just prove you wrong by comparing it to the entire genre, that's how great they are, and how little j-pop is.

Well, that was one band against eachother. Not a band up against a genre! Or multiple genres for that matter, as you did. I'll give you their achievements if you would be so kind telling me why The Beatles are so much better than my music. If you don't count in said "achievements". I don't listen to the achievements, I listen to music. That is what matters to me. Give me ONE good arguement why The Beatles' music is so much better than my Japanese bands'/artists'.

You compared ASB to The Beatles not me. The Beatles put every single person and band you mentioned to shame. Every single person artist or not has a history, achievements is what seperates a person or a band from another the most. I doubt you could name any extraordinary achievements by any of your j-pop favorites. Exceptionally monotone and a great singer that's rhetorical.

Sorry. My bad. It's actually getting quite late up here, so don't judge me! O.o Maybe the vocalists are exceptionally monotone? (xD) How can you possibly say that? And you like The Beatles? Excuse me, but both Gackt and Miyavi have a vibration and spand in their voices.(Especially Gackt) You talk about j-pop/-rock and visual kei as ONE band or ONE artist. You're putting all the genres up against ONE British band. I could go on, telling you about Gackt's and Miyavi's history. Just try me...

First I said Guitarist from Myavi not vocalist, learn to read. Second the vocalists are monotone, how is that exceptional? Thirdly, I listen to all music, you obviously don't since you said ASB's singer is better than The Beatles, that proves on it's own how little you know about music. Even the majority of Japan would choose The Beatles over their own groups. I could go on forever about their achievements, and I couldn't even start with J-pop since there aren't any.

Well, perhaps I AM retarded.. what's it to you? ASB doesn't go down as nobody to everybody, I'm sure many will remember them. Look, there is no such thing as "the vocalist FROM Miyavi", Miyavi is a person, and if there is something he's NOT it's confused. Both he and Gackt are exceptional vocalists and musicians. Perhaps I need to listen to real music, but I know a bit about every aspect of music. That's more than could be said about you.

First off, you must be retarded saying ASB's vocalist is better than John Lennon and Paul McCartney. John and Paul both go down as some of the best musicians/lyricists/and vocalists ever, ASB go down as nobody and there are many reasons why jocking the school name of Radiohead, what jokes. All those bands you listed not only suck, they're all fake except for maybe the guitarist from miyavi who still looks as confused as the rest of these fakes. You need to listen to real music.

The only one I've ever HEARD about is Abingdon Boys School. I checked them out for about a week before I got tired and stopped listening to them... But what about Miyavi, Gackt, The GazettE, Girugämesh, Moi dix Mois... did they become famous just because they wanted to make money as well? And about ASB, the vocalist has a great voice. Far better than any of the guys in The Beatles had.
